It's still strange calling myself an artist.  I prefer the term mad scientist, because that's what it feels like some nights when I'm up to my elbows in plaster wondering how I got myself into such a pickle.

I was raised the Bay Area, tinkered with the thought of becoming an engineer or a rock musician, and then ended up getting a Creative Arts degree from San Jose State. I did get a little worried when they handed me a tin cup and cardboard sign with my diploma.  After working in manufacturing and database management for about 10 years, I ran away to Portland and decided to start goofing around with my hobby of making people ghouls and goblins during the month of October.  Turns out I have a knack for it.
